First communion outdoor session

Opublikowano: 11 February 2019

For many years, May has been a month for us in which we perform mainly communion sessions. We mainly specialize in two types of photos for the First Holy Communion. These are reports from mass in the church and commemorative photo sessions. We would like to bring you a little closer to this second type of session, i.e. commemorative Communion photos taken on the day of the celebration or on any other day. To many people, such sessions may seem stressful or difficult to organize, but we have our own ways to make the photos run smoothly and in a nice atmosphere. We will try to disembark a few important matters, and below we present selected photos from various First Communion sessions.

Communion session in the restaurant during the party
The photo session on the occasion of the First Holy Communion performed during the party is a great solution for those who would like to capture all invited guests and take a professional group photo in which all guests can be seen and, importantly, everyone has their eyes open :-)

Concerns about the space for sessions in the restaurant are often exaggerated, because most places have even a small garden or a fragment of the interior that will allow an experienced photographer to take attractive photos. A frequent problem, however, is the rush and confusion that accompanies large family celebrations. Therefore, the best solution is to choose the right time of session. Experience tells us that a photographer should appear after dinner and then family photos should be started. Guests with full bellies cooperate willingly, the first emotions from the church have already subsided and you can safely say the phrase “family photos!”.

The session is divided into stages, and guests are asked to take pictures in a specific order – thanks to which the rhythm of the party remains unwavering, nobody feels rushed and we avoid stress and rushing. Photos of the main stakeholders (child, parents, grandparents) are of course the main part and it is you who focus on performing the communion session at the party. It’s the perfect solution for those who want to capture the whole party, not just a few commemorative shots.

Individual communion session on the day of communion or another day
The situation is completely different if you decide to do the same individual photo session. With a session of a separate day, we have complete freedom when it comes to choosing both the date, time of day and the location of the session. As for the location, we have a few of our proven certainties that always look great in the pictures. However, the day depends only on you – it is important that you be rested, relaxed and in a good mood. In a session organized a few days after communion usually fewer people participate, so we focus only on the immediate family and the child himself. Such a communion session is the best solution for people who need a little more time to get used to the camera and would prefer a more intimate atmosphere.

We hope that the above description of the communion session helped you in choosing the best solution for you. If you have any questions, feel free to write to photographer@fotoursus.pl or call: 22 667 76 91. And to find out our price offer, look here.

Oh, we would forget about one more thing: deadlines for First Communion sessions, especially on June and September Sundays, are filled very quickly. If you want to choose the date and time of the session freely, it’s a good idea to book the session as soon as possible!
